Support Our Holiday Lights

Each year, Discover Downtown Franklin must raise up to $40,000 to install and maintain the holiday lights - resources that could otherwise help us support our downtown businesses and grow community programs. A gift to the Holiday Lighting Endowment Fund at the Johnson County Community Foundation is invested permanently - with only the interest earnings used each year - providing lasting support for Franklin’s holiday lights.

Holiday Lighting and Winter Market

Saturday, December 6

Holiday-Lighting-2024 Enjoy the all-day holiday festivities, including the Winter Market, a lighted parade along Jefferson Street at 5:30 p.m., Santa Shack and the lighting at the courthouse square at 7 p.m. Downtown Franklin will have so much to see and do - for the whole family!

Late First Friday Every Month

Visit Downtown Franklin on the first Friday of every month! Dozens of locations will have special open-late hours and live musicians will play throughout town.
