The Johnson County Community Foundation recently awarded $15,000 for the purchase of an event vehicle. Overall, the foundation presented $161,146 in grants to 18 organizations.
The foundation’s grants committee awarded the money to address a wide variety of needs in the county. The grants benefit organizations addressing the housing affordability crisis, food insecurity, education, public safety, education, leadership, tourism and more.
