Franklin’s annual holiday lighting is one of, if not the, most popular events for local residents. A new initiative aims to ensure that tradition always remains special.
Discover Downtown Franklin is launching Light the Legacy, an effort to build the existing Holiday Lighting Endowment Fund at the Johnson County Community Foundation. Increasing the endowment will help the organization with its fundraising each year for the lights, said Danny Causey, executive director of Discover Downtown Franklin.
