The Fall Vintage & Handmade Festival takes over downtown Franklin on Saturday, with local businesses and shops teaming up with other regional vendors for a shoppers’ paradise spread throughout the city.

“It’s kind of a dream to see so many people downtown,” said Danny Causey, executive director of Discover Downtown Franklin, which organizes the festival. “In the spring, I’d drive back and forth and just see crowds of people on the sidewalk.”

More than 170 booths will be set up in two distinct areas in the city — the DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Youngs Creek Park and the city parking lot just past the intersection of Jefferson Street and Branigin Boulevard. Food trucks and live music will be featured all day long.
