Join us on West Court Street, next to the Johnson County Courthouse, for the 22nd annual Strawberries on the Square event — a fun day to kick off Franklin's summer festival season! Get your fill of fresh-made strawberry shortcakes while enjoying free admission, live music, play zones, balloon art and glitter tattoos. Make it a hang-out day (or evening) for your work team, friend group, or the whole family. (If the line looks long, don't worry, we are well-practiced and super-speedy!)
Enjoy all this, absolutely FREE: Admission, live music all day, balloon art and glitter tattoos (from Noon to 6 p.m. only), JCPL Family Fun Zone, Festival Country Fun Plaza Games (at Toodleydoo Toys). Also for purchase, Back to the Future will be showing at The Historic Artcraft Theatre and food trucks will be available throughout the day.
